A modern two-bedroom ground floor apartment, situated in the beach village of Burgau (only a few kms West of Praia da Luz). At the entrance to the block there is an iron gate; Apartment Calma is the first apartment on your left. On entering through the front door, you will find the open plan kitchen to your right. This modern, well equipped kitchen with marble breakfast bar and 4 stools, contains an oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. On the left of the front door is the living area complete with two black leather 2-seater sofas, a coffee table in the middle, and a wood effect unit with bookshelf and drawers, upon which sits the TV. (English and Portuguese channels) There is also a DVD and CD player and an air-conditioning unit. Two-way opening doors, (either as a door or a tilt out window for ventilation) lead out onto the verandah. Here there is a built-in BBQ, and outdoor dining table and chairs. The blinds are electrically operated. Down the hall on the right hand side is the 1st bathroom, with toilet, hand basin with mirror above and shelf beneath, bath and shower and floor heating. Opposite this bathroom is the 1st bedroom, which consists of two twin beds, a bedside table in between, fitted wardrobes and an air-conditioning unit. The master bedroom consisting of two twin beds pushed together, two bedside tables, fitted wardrobes and an air-conditioning unit and is found at the end of the hall. This room has an en-suite bathroom, with toilet, bidet, hand basin with mirror above and shelf beneath, bath with jacuzzi jets, shower and floor heating. Both bedrooms have two-way doors and electrically operated blinds, that lead out onto the verandah, which is also shared with the lounge. The resort’s pool area is the opposite side of the road and consists of an adult’s pool and a children’s pool, which are beautifully built into the rocks. There is also a very well equipped gymnasium, a spa, dressing rooms and shower rooms. Access to these facilities is through an electrically controlled gate. A card to operate this gate will be left in the apartment for clients’ use. The pool bar and restaurant are also a part of this resort, and members (up to 6 people) are entitled to a 10% discount on food and beverages. Situated just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village of Burgau, its restaurants, bars, shops and the beach, this apartment makes an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding towns of Praia da Luz and Lagos too. The bus stop in the centre of Burgau village is only 200 m away from the apartment. Immediately adjacent to the apartment estate are the cliff tops of Burgau, where you can also enjoy a leisurely stroll along the cliff top path to Praia da Luz for the more adventurous.
